Minka Middle East Monitoring and Learning Platform

MASAE Analytics was contracted by AFD to organise and collect monitoring and learning information for the Minka Middle East fund. This €409 million fund is implemented across 36 projects and 49 implementing partners in four countries, supporting peace building and resilience in the region.

Why This Matters

Coordinating large-scale, multi-country programmes requires robust systems for tracking progress and learning. By centralising data collection and analysis, the Minka Middle East platform enables stakeholders to monitor outcomes, share insights, and adapt strategies for greater impact.

Our Approach

  • Data Science and Platform Development:
Built a digital platform to gather, store, and visualise monitoring data from all participating projects and partners.

  • Comprehensive Coverage:
Ensured the system could accommodate diverse data sources and reporting needs across multiple countries.

  • Actionable Insights:
Enabled real-time analysis and reporting to support evidence-based decision-making.

Results and Impact

The platform has enhanced transparency, improved coordination, and provided AFD and its partners with the tools to maximise the effectiveness of the Minka Middle East fund.
